A 1,692m² manufacturing facility on Saleyards Road, Whangārei, built in 10 months for one of Northland's own furniture makers.
Founded near Whangārei in 1994, Educated Furniture designs and manufactures custom furniture for schools, education centres and workplaces across New Zealand. Its new facility pairs a 1,440m² warehouse with 252m² of offices.
ARCO came in at early design stage and worked with the team to shape the layout around their manufacturing process: a machine workshop, an open-plan fabrication and storage area, and a dedicated truck loading bay.
Construction ran on a compressed 10-month programme, from September 2025 to June 2026, coordinating more than 35 contracting companies, 3,200m² of poured concrete and 41 tonnes of structural steel. The result is more production capacity for a business growing nationwide.
