An expansion of BestStart Maunu in Whangārei, starting with extensive siteworks and retaining walls to prepare the adjoining land for a new preschool building.
BestStart Maunu needed space for more preschool children. ARCO developed the land beside the existing centre, and the groundwork came first: extensive siteworks and retaining walls to create a buildable platform next to the existing building.
The new building is a precast panel and structural steel portal frame structure with linear weatherboard and flat sheet cladding, finished with landscaping and paved areas. It was completed in full, on time, on budget and to the client's specification.
