A new preschool building for BestStart Kensington, built on land beside the existing centre to grow its capacity.
BestStart needed more room for preschool children at its Kensington centre in Whangārei. ARCO developed the adjoining land and built an additional preschool facility alongside the existing one, delivered within the agreed timeframe and budget.
The building pairs precast concrete panels and a structural steel portal frame with timber-framed walls clad in linear weatherboards and flat sheet, finished with landscaping and paved outdoor areas.
