A new gymnasium for Whangārei Girls' High School, won at tender and delivered design and build.
ARCO won the tender to design and build a new gym at Whangārei Girls' High School. The building uses a roll-formed steel structure with timber-framed exterior walls clad in long-run iron, a long-run iron roof and flat sheet boxing to the exterior portal legs.
Inside, ARCO installed a timber sports floor and the associated sports equipment, with electrical, data, mechanical ventilation and security services throughout.
