A design and build café fitout on the ground floor of the Quest Apartments on Bank Street, Whangārei.
ARCO managed Grind Café's fitout through every stage, from architectural, engineering and fire design to building consent and construction. The brief turned a ground-floor tenancy into a working café, with a commercial kitchen, toilet block and dining areas.
The biggest change was out front. We rebuilt the entranceway to open the building up to the street, giving the café a stronger presence in the Whangārei CBD. Polished concrete floors finish the space.
