A staged redevelopment of Pacific Motor Group's showroom and service centre into two new facilities, with the dealership fully operational throughout.
Pacific Motor Group is a family-owned dealership with more than 100 years of trading, one of the longest-standing local businesses in Northland. ARCO came on board early, through early contractor involvement, to turn its existing vehicle showroom and service centre into two separate new facilities built to national standards.
The key constraint: the business had to stay fully operational throughout a three-year redevelopment. ARCO's scope started with feasibility and bulk and location concept design, then covered architectural design, structural engineering, geotechnical investigation, fire reports and both resource and building consents. The redevelopment delivered 2,800m² of vehicle showroom, 2,500m² of workshop space, 650m² of service and support centre and 350m² of sales administration.
