Mainstream Distribution Centre ARCO Group

An 1,800m² freight distribution centre for Mainstream in Whangārei, designed and built in 20 weeks from contract signing.

Mainstream, an integrated supply chain partner moving freight for New Zealand businesses around the world, had a fixed date to leave its previous site: 1 April. ARCO designed and built its new Whangārei distribution centre in 20 weeks from signing the contract, so the move happened on time.

Ground conditions meant stabilisation works had to come before construction. The finished precast panel and structural steel building includes 250m² of offices and operational space, a covered canopy for loading and unloading trucks, and 3,500m² of reinforced concrete yard.

"On spec and on budget too. The ARCO team were professional throughout the build and their communication excellent. We hope to build again with them someday." - [insert client name and title], Mainstream
